Aventura Comprehensive Cancer Center has been awarded Accreditation by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer

As an approved ACOS “Community Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Program”, the members of the medical staff are board certified in the major medical specialties and participate in clinical research as a requirement. Additionally we provide a full range of diagnostic and treatment services that are available on site, allowing our patients easy access to all aspects of cancer care at one location.

Hospital Affiliation

Conjointly, the Cancer Center is an affiliate of Aventura Hospital and Medical Center which allows us to provide treatment services led by a highly trained staff, utilizing “state of the art” technology to offer patients the highest quality cancer care available. The availability of a full range of medical services along with a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care at approved cancer programs results in approximately 75 percent of all newly diagnosed cancer patients being treated in Commission on Cancer Approved Cancer Programs.
